Recently underwent surgery for a lipoma removal with Mr Alok Misra and I was impressed from start-to-finish. Slick service and I had absolute confidence he was the right man for the job right off the bat.

My son was treated by Mr Misra following a bad injury to his leg which wasn’t healing well. Mr Misra did an excellent job of cleaning and assessing the wound and then carefully explaining our options, all the while being reassuring and light-hearted in order to put both me and my son at ease. We left feeling confident in what to do, and the improvement in healing of the wound following our appointment was rapid. Once the wound had healed, we then had a follow up appointment to explain how to look after the scar and hopefully help it fade over time. We were very grateful to both Mr Misra, and also to his assistant Jane who was very approachable and easy to contact between appointments (and patient with my silly questions or moments of panic!). Would highly recommend.

I was referred to Mr Misra to deal with a lipoma in my groin (not cancerous but annoying). Mr Misra performed an excision and the scar is barely noticeable; I couldn't be happier with my outcome. What makes Mr Misra special is the rapport he generated with me and my wife (who was in attendance throughout). He skilfully dealt with a combination of me not needing to know any details of the operation, whilst my wife wanted to know the minutiae. And we still had time for a laugh or two. Mr Misra takes a genuine interest in your all round health and puts you completely at your ease. My MRI scan revealed a couple of "supplementaries" and Mr Misra ensured that these were followed up and subsequently checked that I had resolved the issues identified by the the scan . Mr Misra's PA, Jane, kept on top of matters and showed a genuine interest in my after care, which was much appreciated by me. So, an unqualified recommendation from me.

Mr Misra carried out a reconstruction of part of my face following removal of a BCC. From the initial consultation through to final sign off, I felt confident in entrusting myself to his care for what was quite a scary procedure. He explained clearly the various options to minimise possible scarring and, on the day, put me at my ease. While the local anaesthetic injection wasn’t pleasant, after that I felt no discomfort and Mr Misra explained exactly what he was doing throughout the procedure. Less than four weeks on, I am already very pleased with the results. While an excellent surgeon, one of the keys to Mr Misra’s success and high level of patient satisfaction is his secret weapon - his PA Jane. A former nurse herself, she is extremely efficient at fixing appointments and checking regularly to make sure that recovery is going well - I really felt I didn’t have to worry about anything! They work together as a great team and make their patients feel that they really do care.

Mr Misra and team provided excellent service throughout- pre, during and post surgery. The right level of information and insurance was always there and the follow up and aftercare was excellent. I would highly recommend!
